Our floating ball valves ensure seamless flow control for diverse applications.
A floating ball valve is a valve that utilizes a ball to regulate the flow of liquid. In its normal operation, the ball floats slightly downstream, held between the seats, which causes the seating mechanism to compress as the ball presses against it. The IV range of floating valves, featuring a metal-seated seat design, incorporates various unique design features that ensure rugged construction, reliable operation, and an extended service life.
Metal seats are available with different coatings such as Tungsten Carbide Coating TCC, Chromium Carbide Coating CCC, Satellite 6 & Satellite 12 to meet your application requirements and high-temperature demands.
These valves are well-suited for various applications across diverse process industries, from standard to the most challenging. This includes chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, steel, alumina, power generation, hydrocarbon services, common utilities, allied industries, and oil and gas sectors.
Designed for flow isolation and ON/OFF functions, these valves ensure a positive shut-off of fluids and gases under a variety of service conditions. They are available in a comprehensive selection of designs, materials, sizes, and pressure classes, fully conforming to international specifications. The design of these ball valves adheres to ASME B16.34, API 6D, API 608, and BS EN ISO 17292 standards.
The valves guarantee dependable sealing with their double-body construction and multiple stem seals. They can be customized with special features such as a locking arrangement, extended stem/bonnet for vacuum service, jacketing, fire-safe construction, and compliance with fugitive emission standards.Furthermore, according to client specifications, valves can be equipped with a gearbox, pneumatic actuator, or electric actuator.
